The Federal Public Service Council made it clear on Friday: you don’t need a middleman, and you don’t have to pay any fees to apply for jobs.
In a statement, the council said all applications and hiring steps are done only through its official channels and follow the law. No shortcuts, no agents.
The council warned that some social media pages are spreading false information and fake job ads. These scams are asking people to pay money in exchange for jobs or help with applications.
It stressed that anything outside the official channels is completely false. The council does not work with intermediaries and does not charge any fees—period.
Officials said these scams are more than just misinformation. They are fraud, designed to take advantage of young people looking for jobs and to damage trust in the system.
The council also said it will take strict legal action against anyone involved in these activities. Those responsible will be tracked down and prosecuted under the law.
At the same time, it urged people to stay alert. Don’t trust suspicious ads. Don’t send money to anyone claiming they can secure a job through the council.
Instead, rely only on the council’s official accounts for accurate information.
Finally, the council asked citizens to report any cases of fraud or extortion to the authorities. It said protecting people’s rights and keeping the hiring process clean is a responsibility it takes seriously—and it won’t back down from it.
