Gold prices remained stable on Sunday in both Baghdad and Erbil, with no major changes reported in local markets.
In Baghdad’s wholesale gold market on Al-Nahr Street, the selling price of one mithqal (about 4.5 grams) of 21-karat Gulf, Turkish, and European gold reached 937,000 Iraqi dinars, while the buying price stood at 933,000 dinars.
Meanwhile, Iraqi 21-karat gold was sold at 907,000 dinars per mithqal, with traders buying it at 903,000 dinars.
The steady prices reflect a balanced market, with both imported and locally produced gold maintaining their previous levels despite ongoing economic and regional developments.
