Political leaders are looking to the next parliamentary session as an important opportunity to complete the government cabinet and fill the remaining vacant ministerial positions.
Imran Karkoush, a member of the State of Law Coalition, said that finalizing the cabinet is one of the government’s top priorities and should be addressed during the first upcoming parliamentary session.
He explained that the government needs a fully formed cabinet in order to carry out its responsibilities effectively and move forward with its plans and programs.
Karkoush added that political parties are continuing discussions and consultations to reach final agreements on the ministries that remain without ministers.
According to him, completing the cabinet will strengthen the performance of government institutions, improve coordination between ministries, and help speed up the implementation of key government projects and services in the months ahead.
Political negotiations are expected to continue until lawmakers meet again, with hopes that agreements can be reached and the remaining positions filled.
