Kurdistan Region registers 500,000 salaries in My Account, plans 1,000 new ATMs

On Tuesday, the Service of Money and Economy of the Kurdistan Territorial Government reported the enrollment of 500,000 compensations in My Record (Hisabi) banking framework, presently utilized for dispensing workers’ pay rates in the District.

The service expressed, “This drive is important for a complete arrangement to enlist an extra 1,000,000 compensations in financial balances by 2025.”

In addition, approximately 1,000 ATMs will be installed throughout the Region as part of the expansion to increase financial services accessibility.

It stated, “Through financial digitization, the Hisabi system aims to enhance transparency and efficiency in salary management, with the new ATMs enabling easier cash withdrawals and deposits for daily transactions.”

Prior, Awat Sheik Janab Nuri, the Kurdish Pastor of Money and Economy, declared that the financial framework “will give advances and credits of something like 15 million IQD ($11K) to representatives who have their compensations kept in this record.”

In September, Kurdish Head of the state Masrour Barzani, commended the Locale’s financial framework as “more grounded and more successful,” featuring that 500,000 public area laborers have been coordinated into My Record for pay and monetary distributions.

The task, sent off by the Kurdish Government under PM Barzani, modernizes worker monetary administrations by giving more than 19 month to month banking administrations — including pay installments and advances — for 2,500 IQD.

Upheld by the National Bank of Iraq, it expects to incorporate all workers toward the finish of 2024, upgrade straightforwardness, battle debasement, and add to the District’s monetary turn of events.

Workers can gather their compensations from different installment places across the Area, without visiting banks. The drive tries to lessen cash reliance and work on the productivity and security of installment processes.
